One of the IAI's missions is to educate its members. The IAI is dedicated to the continual advancement of forensic science and innovation utilizing the latest technical developments in conjunction with the principles of forensic science.
Footwear/Tire Track Examiner Training Program
In partnership with the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), the National Forensic Science Technology Center (NFSTC) is pleased to announce that Footwear/Tire Track Examiner Training will be provided at no cost to eligible applicants under an NIJ Cooperative Agreement Award.
This training program is designed to lead a cohort group of entry level footwear/tire track examiner trainees through sequential course offerings in preparation for taking the IAI certification examination.
IAI Sponsored Training Opportunities — New courses are continually being added.
IAI Division Conferences — Many Divisions sponsor their own conferences and training.
International Education Conference — During this annual week-long conference world-renowned professionals present the most current information and research in forensic science. In addition, lectures and workshops representing the disciplines of the IAI provide attendees with discipline specific advancements and continuing educational training. The dates and locations for the upcoming 4 years are provided on the website under the “Conference” tab.
