Certified Forensic Video Examiner Promotional Opportunity;
Certification has become an important issue in every forensic science discipline and Digital & Multimedia Evidence is no exception.
About one year ago the International Association for Identification (IAI) announced the release of our updated certified video examiner test (CFVE). Our new test focuses testing on areas of high frequency (tasks you do often) as well as criticality (tasks that are very important).
This test usually costs $300 for IAI members ($400 for non-members); however, we will be offering a select amount of testings at no cost to IAI members in order to promote the quality of the IAI Forensic Video Certification test.
Those selected will have the fee paid and have up to two months to prepare for the examination.
The link will be open for one month and the recipient will be notified by January 17, 2023.
The Forensic Video Certification Board (FVCB) feels that this latest test update reflects the most current trends and topics in video forensics and are really looking forward to getting more applicants.
Requirements to apply for this promotional opportunity: an IAI member, not currently IAI certified, 1 year of experience in Forensic Video Analysis, and 120 hours of training with 96 hours specific to Forensic Video. The study reference materials, as well as additional details on IAI FV certification can be located here.
