Mission Statement
To identify current applicable standards and best practices required for certification in Forensic Photography & Imaging, to establish a consistent and reliable means for determining when competency standards have been met in applying those standards and best practices, and to evaluate applicants and renewing certificants through a testing process that is fair and equitable to all.
Notice to Applicants: As of 11/1/2021, the initial certification exam has been modified to no longer include the assignments of:
- Photograph 3 objects of evidence to be sized 1:1, and
- Photograph 3 specialties (fire scene, electrostatic dust / Gel, Copy Document, Night Surveillance, Infrared, Aerial, Public Relations, Fluorescence).
